Upper-Inter Musical Theatre is for young people aged between school year 7 and 8. Members of UIMT usually progress into our Senior Musical Theatre class, and many move into the Upper-Inters from the classes below. We spend a lot of time focussing on the core skills of acting, singing and dancing. UIMT members, perform at the Christmas concert and present their own musical theatre performance in the spring term. Upper-Inters present Studio productions at the Rose Theatre and from time-to-time, will join SMT shows as ensemble members. SMT at Chesterfield Studios is one of the leading youth theatres in the area, with an enviable reputation for producing high quality productions.
